2025-25 MS Total Player Training
Dear Parents,
My name is Brent Blegen and I am the varsity baseball coach at Hudson High School. For the past few off seasons we have offered a hitting program to our high school athletes. Last year we introduced a MS Hitting program to our 7th and 8th Graders and this year I am excited to share that we will be adding to our MS training by offering a Total Player Training Camp.
What: The total player off season program includes the MS hitting program (Hitting program details can be found HERE) plus hitting on Wednesdays, and throwing/arm care, and defensive fundamental work on Wednesdays and on Saturday mornings. This is open to the first 20 7th and 8th grade Hudson athletes.
Why/Goals (HItting):
- Develop skills that scale. Specifically bat speed, barrel control / contact quality and swing decisions.
- To provide an organized, structured, individualized, time efficient and deliberate hitting environment that prioritizes player development.
- Use technology (Rapsodo Hitting Unit, Blast Motion, Pocket Radar, etc.) to objectively provide feedback to gain knowledge where improvement is needed and what improvements have been made.

- Ability to train/develop in Hudson
- Integration of technology to drive player development, to chart growth and to provide hitting metrics/stats

- Ability to train alongside teammates.
- Unique way to compete and develop during the winter months
- Access to Rapsodo Hitting 3.0, blast motion sensors, pocket radars, batting cages, pitching machine, training bats, baseballs, plyo balls, etc.
