2024 Youth Hitting Program
Dear Parents,
My name is Brent Blegen and I am the varsity baseball coach at Hudson High School. For the past few off seasons we have offered a hitting program to our high school athletes. I am excited to share that we are going to be offering another youth hitting camp again this winter. This camp will be similar to what our high athlete's participate in but on a slightly smaller scale.
What: Each training date will have three one-hour long training blocks. We've added a 3rd batting cage and we can now accommodate up to 15 athlete's per session.
Why/Goals:
- Develop skills that scale. Specifically bat speed, barrel control / contact quality and swing decisions.
- To provide an organized, structured, individualized, time efficient and deliberate hitting environment that prioritizes player development.
- Use technology (Rapsodo Hitting Unit, Blast Motion, Pocket Radar, etc.) to objectively provide feedback to gain knowledge where improvement is needed and what improvements have been made.

Instructors: Hudson High School baseball coaches and varsity baseball players.
Cost: $225
Dates: December 1, 7, 14, 15 January 4, 5, 11, 12
Times: Saturdays 4:30-7:30, Sundays 1:00-4:00
Location: West Gym at Hudson High School
Registration Deadline:
- Current 7th and 8th graders have until 10/14 to register before we open up the remaining spots to our 6th grade class.
- 6th grade players can register starting on 10/15. Please do not register your player early or we will refund your registration.
- All athletes must be registered by 11/3.
